Mr. Nalaka Kularatne

He is an alumnus of University of Moratuwa and Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He possesses a BSc (Eng) in Electrical Engineering from University of Moratuwa and an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

His work experience as the Chief Operating Officer of ICC Green Energy Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, spearheaded the business unit to achieve business targets. His tasks included the entire management & operations of the company’s strategic initiatives, transfer of technical knowhow, process improvements, project reviews and sales & after-sales reviews of more than 12MW installation base. He has been the Deputy General Manager at Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC . He lead the Business Unit, setting up of strategies and targets to the team and managed and spearheaded the business unit to achieve business targets and driving the engineers to develop their careers while achieving project targets in Medium Voltage Projects and resource allocation for smooth project execution.

His training and industrial exposure includes i.e., Industrial Visit to USA : on Automation at Parker Daedal, USA (1995): Industrial Visit to UK on Automation at Coventry University, UK (1995): Training at Gallagher Group in Electric Fencing and Security Systems in New Zealand (2008), Business Visit to SkyCool, Australia (2008): Training on Daylight Solutions in USA : Solatube International, USA (2013), Training on Renewable Energies in Germany (2013): Delegation to South Korea (2015), Factory Acceptance Test in Germany : Siemens Transformer Factory (2017): Factory Acceptance Test in Italy : Trafo Elletro Transformer Factory (2017).
